I hope everyone is enjoying their summer! For this month’s edition of Dart Board, I wanted to take a look at how the industry is trending, and also share some stats on Dart Appraisal’s performance through the first half of 2017.

I hope everyone’s summer is off to a great start! Hard to believe we’re halfway through the year already. In this month’s Dart Board, I wanted to dig into the appraisal process – what happens behind the scenes at Dart regarding your orders, and also some tips for you to share with your borrowers on what they should expect.

June 6, 2017 – Dart Appraisal today announced that it has been named an approved Appraisal Management Company (AMC) by Ditech Financial LLC (“Ditech”). Dart Appraisal will immediately begin providing residential valuation services to all of Ditech’s mortgage origination channels.

Welcome to the May edition of our Dart Board newsletter. In this issue, I want to talk about some specialty appraisal products as well as give you an update on what’s going on here at Dart Appraisal.

May 10, 2017 – Dart Appraisal has teamed up with Operation Care Package of Michigan (OCPMI) to supply overseas troops with care packages throughout National Military Appreciation Month. OCPMI is a nonprofit, volunteer-based organization that sends care packages overseas.

What does appraising today look like? Better yet, what does it look like to join the appraisal profession in 2017? These questions have been top of mind for us in the valuation industry for some time now, and I’d like to share some information as well as my thoughts with you on these issues in this month’s Dart Board.
