Quality:
Quality is promoted through dart appraisal.com’s Quality
Control department. On a monthly basis our Quality
Control Depart holds training classes for the entire
office staff. These courses cover many aspects of real
estate appraisal, mortgage origination, and mortgage
underwriting. Topics of instruction have included: hands
on appraisal practice, appraisal review, underwriting
guidelines, industry changes, and industry updates.
Additionally, dart appraisal.com’s Quality Control
Department routinely issues new letters to our clients
and appraisers regarding policy change in the real
estate appraisal industry. The Quality Control
Department also teaches appraisal training courses for
the staff of our major clients.

that utilizes two powerful tools to ensure that our

corrections or revisions are returned to the appraiser
for completion prior to the final version of the report
being delivered to our clients.
Appraisal Fraud Protection:
Appraisal fraud is a means to inflate home values and
reduce loan-to-value ratios on prospective mortgage
applicants, for the sole purpose of securing a loan which
otherwise may not qualify for approval. Inflating
appraisal values is fraudulent, and this practice is
deemed to be predatory by consumer advocacy groups,
regulators, legislators and dart appraisal.com.
Appraisal fraud has been part of the mortgage industry
for many years, and can impact both refinance and
purchase transactions. This statement serves as a
reiteration of dart appraisal.com policy of not
condoning appraisal fraud, and making its best effort to
ensure that appraisals done on behalf of our clients are
